<\/span><\/font>Gel polish does not dry <\/span>during polymerization – this question, unfortunately, is asked quite often.<\/span> The reasons for this phenomenon can be different.<\/span> We will list the main ones in this article.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR GEL POLISH TO HARDEN<\/span>
<\/h2>\n

The timing of the complete drying of the gel varnish in the lamp depends on the type of device used.<\/span> Modern lamps make it possible to solve a problem for a different period of time.<\/span> In CCFL and LED devices, gel polish dries in 30-60 seconds, in a UV lamp – in 2 minutes.<\/span> Depends on the drying time of the varnish and on the type of agent used – different compositions behave differently in lamps.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Can gel polish be dried without using a lamp?<\/span> This is possible, but this option is unlikely to be a solution to the problem.<\/span> Indeed, even under the influence of very bright rays of the sun, it will take several days for the coating to dry.<\/span> In this case, the structure and characteristics of the varnish will be changed.<\/span> Gel varnishes sold in stores that do not require drying in a lamp are analogs of the originals with a modified formula.<\/span> They are worn longer than ordinary varnishes, but much less than gel varnish dried in a special device.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

GEL POLISH DOES NOT DRY IN THE LAMP: WHY IS THIS HAPPENING<\/span><\/h2>\n

The reasons for the fact that the <\/span>gel polish<\/span> does not dry out <\/span>and does not freeze <\/span>can lie both in the composition of the product or its quality, and in the lamp.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The gel polish itself may be of poor quality.<\/span> If fakes are used for manicure, troubles can manifest themselves not only in the absence of polymerization, but also in the color, structure of the product, and the quality of its application.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Another common reason that <\/span>gel polish <\/span>does not dry<\/span> during polymerization <\/span>is the application of the coating in a very thick layer.<\/span> <\/span>The material on the nail begins to harden from above and if there is a too thick coating, the lower part of it simply does not have time to harden.<\/span> <\/span>Even with an increase in the drying time, the rays will not be able to break through to the lower layers through the already frozen upper ones.<\/span> <\/span>In this case, unpleasant burning sensations may appear, and the coating itself may wrinkle.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With strong pigmentation of the varnish, an increase in the polymerization time is required.<\/span> The reason is the presence of a special pigment that increases the brightness of the coating.<\/span> It also creates barriers to the penetration of the light bulb’s rays to the main structure of the material.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The problem with solidification may also arise if the product has expired.<\/span> This period should be measured from the moment the bottle is opened.<\/span> On average, the varnish retains its properties for 2-3 years.<\/span> After this period, it is recommended to replace the funds with a new one.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why doesn’t gel polish dry? <\/span>The problem may be with the lamp.<\/span> The device may be defective, for example, the light source in it will burn out.<\/span> If you do not replace it, the gel polish may dry slowly or not harden at all.<\/span> You can make a replacement from the master at the service centers.<\/span> So that the malfunction does not cause trouble for the master working on the flow of clients, it is worth purchasing another lamp – a spare one.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Gel polish <\/span>does<\/span> <\/span>not dry<\/span> <\/span>even <\/span>in <\/span>a <\/span>lamp whose <\/span>power is too low.<\/span> Indicators may decrease over time – in this case, it is worth replacing the device.<\/span> Buy devices that start at 36 watts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Poor curing may be due to dirt on the lamp.<\/span> Dust on its inner surface prevents rays from reaching the nails and a hardening film does not form on the gel polish.<\/span> Clean the appliance after each use and before starting your working day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Gel polish<\/span> <\/span>may not dry due to a violation of the position of the hands in the lamp. Nails should be level without slopes.<\/span> If positioned incorrectly, the varnish can run off and deform.<\/span> In addition, the rays will fall unevenly on the entire coating.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
